Mono Ammonium Phosphate also known as NPK 12-61-00 is used worldwide as a major cropping fertilizer. It is the main source for Nitrogen and Phosphorous. MAP dissolves readily to provide nitrogen and phosphorous to crops, vegetables and fruits at all stages of growth. It helps the plant for quick sprouting and vegetation. Ammonical Nitrogen helps the plant for adequate intake of phosphorous.

APPLICATIONS
There are no special precautions associated with the direct usage of MAP. The slightly acidic nature prevents the formation of free ammonia which cause damages and also prevent ammonia loss in the air. MAP can be mixed with other water soluble fertilizers taking care that it should not be mixed with calcium and magnesium fertilizers. MAP can be applied in bulk blending, fertigation, foliar spray.
For non agricultural application, it is also used in dry chemical fire extinguishers commonly found in school, colleges, office and residence.
